We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mid-Level Construction Helper with prior experience in construction environments. In this role, you will assist tradespeople and site supervisors with a variety of tasks while taking on more responsibility and working more independently than a junior helper. This position is ideal for candidates who have basic construction knowledge and are looking to grow their career in the trades.
Assist with construction, installation, and repair work under limited supervision.
Read and interpret basic blueprints or instructions from supervisors.
Safely operate a range of hand and power tools.
Measure, cut, and prepare materials with minimal guidance.
Load, unload, and move materials and tools to proper locations.
Set up and break down scaffolding, barricades, and temporary structures.
Perform demolition, cleanup, and job site preparation tasks.
Follow safety guidelines and help ensure team compliance on site.
Provide support to carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other trades as needed.
1–3 years of experience in general construction or related work.
Basic understanding of construction tools, equipment, and safety practices.
Ability to take direction and also work independently when required.
Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform manual labor for long hours.
Reliable transportation and punctuality.
OSHA 10 certification (preferred but not required).
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
