Job Title: Field Services Supervisor – Valve Inspections
Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Field Services Supervisor to lead and oversee all valve inspection activities across multiple water treatment sites. This senior leadership role is responsible for managing inspection teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, optimizing inspection programs, and driving continuous improvement in valve asset reliability and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Program Management

Lead and manage valve inspection operations across multiple facilities, including supervision of field crews and subcontractors.

Develop, implement, and continuously improve valve inspection protocols, schedules, and reporting systems.

Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and reliability teams to integrate inspection findings into asset management and capital planning.
Team Development & Supervision

Mentor and develop supervisors and inspectors, promoting technical excellence and safety culture.

Oversee staffing, workload distribution, and performance management of field inspection teams.

Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning.
Quality Assurance & Compliance

Ensure all valve inspections comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Conduct audits, quality reviews, and root cause analyses of valve failures and inspection deficiencies.

Lead safety initiatives, risk assessments, and incident investigations related to field inspection activities.
Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement

Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on valve condition, inspection results, and program performance for senior management.

Serve as the primary liaison for external regulatory bodies, contractors, and internal departments concerning valve inspection matters.

Qualifications and Skills
Education:

High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Inspection, or related field preferred
Experience:

8+ years of valve inspection or related mechanical field experience, with at least 4 years in a supervisory or senior leadership capacity

Extensive experience in water treatment or similar industrial environments
Skills:
