We are looking for an experienced Field Services Supervisor to lead and coordinate valve inspection teams in water treatment plants. This role involves managing field personnel, ensuring thorough inspections, supporting data analysis, and driving compliance with safety and operational standards to maintain valve integrity.
Team Leadership & Coordination
Supervise and guide valve inspection crews performing detailed assessments on valves including gate, butterfly, check, and control valves.
Assign and prioritize daily inspection tasks; ensure inspections meet schedule and quality standards.
Mentor junior inspectors and field technicians, providing on-the-job training and technical support.
Inspection Oversight & Quality Control
Review inspection reports and verify accuracy and completeness of data collected.
Coordinate follow-up actions for valves requiring maintenance or repair based on inspection findings.
Implement best practices to improve inspection efficiency and reliability.
Safety & Regulatory Compliance
Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols including PPE usage, confined space entry, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Conduct safety briefings and incident investigations related to field inspections.
Ensure all inspection activities comply with regulatory standards and company policies.
Reporting & Communication
Maintain comprehensive records of inspection activities in CMMS or asset management systems.
Provide regular updates and reports to maintenance supervisors, operations teams, and management.
Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to support valve reliability programs.

Education:
High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or diploma in mechanical, inspection, or water treatment preferred
Experience:
4–7 years of experience in valve inspection, mechanical maintenance, or related field
Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role
Skills:
Solid understanding of valve inspection techniques and valve types
Proficiency with CMMS (e.g., Maximo, Cityworks) and data management
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Knowledge of safety regulations and fieldwork best practices
