We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Field Service Technician specializing in gas and steam turbines. In this leadership role, you will oversee the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of turbine equipment at multiple client sites. You will serve as the technical expert, providing guidance to junior and mid-level technicians, managing complex service projects, and ensuring the highest standards of operational reliability and safety.
Lead and supervise turbine installation, commissioning, and overhaul projects.
Provide expert-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex mechanical and operational issues.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies to enhance turbine reliability and performance.
Mentor and train junior and mid-level field service technicians, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
Coordinate field teams to ensure efficient resource allocation and timely project completion.
Act as the primary technical liaison between clients, engineers, and service teams.
Build strong relationships with clients by providing proactive communication and exceptional service support.
Lead site inspections, safety audits, and performance reviews in collaboration with customer representatives.
Recommend improvements in service processes and equipment usage based on field observations.
Champion safety best practices, enforce compliance with all regulatory and company safety policies.
Conduct risk assessments and lead safety briefings before field operations.
Investigate and report any incidents, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
Oversee accurate and thorough documentation of all service activities, including detailed technical reports and compliance records.
Analyze service data to identify trends and recommend preventative measures.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Turbine Technology, or related field preferred
7+ years of hands-on experience in turbine field service, installation, and maintenance
Proven expertise in gas and steam turbine mechanical systems, diagnostics, and repair
Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing client relationships
Advanced knowledge of turbine equipment, control systems, and diagnostic tools
Ability to perform complex root cause failure analysis and preventive maintenance planning
Strong understanding of safety regulations and quality standards

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
