We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Field Service Technician with experience in gas and steam turbine systems to support installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities at client sites. You will work independently or with minimal supervision to ensure turbine equipment operates efficiently and reliably. This role involves direct interaction with customers, mentoring junior technicians, and contributing to field service planning and execution.
Lead or assist in the installation, alignment, and commissioning of gas or steam turbines following manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
Ensure proper calibration and testing of turbine systems during startup and shutdown.
Perform routine and corrective maintenance on turbine equipment, including inspection, lubrication, repairs, and part replacements.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues using diagnostic tools and techniques.
Recommend solutions to optimize turbine performance and reliability.
Manage service calls and field visits, ensuring timely and quality service delivery.
Coordinate with customers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues effectively.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians and apprentices on site.
Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance during all field activities.
Conduct risk assessments and participate in safety meetings and training programs.
Prepare detailed service reports, inspection records, and maintenance logs.
Track equipment performance data and service history for analysis and reporting.

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Turbine Technology, or related discipline
3-5 years of experience in turbine maintenance, installation, and field service

Proficient in diagnostic tools, mechanical repairs, and alignment techniques
Familiarity with turbine control systems and instrumentation
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and lead small teams in the field
