We are looking for a highly experienced and technically proficient Senior Field Service Technician to lead and execute complex boiler service operations at power plant facilities. This senior role requires advanced expertise in boiler diagnostics, repairs, installation, and client relations, combined with leadership skills to mentor field teams and ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Lead and oversee complex installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair projects on high-pressure boilers, burners, and auxiliary systems.
Provide technical guidance and direction to junior and mid-level field technicians during service activities.
Manage multiple service assignments ensuring timely, safe, and effective completion.
Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, combustion, and control system issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
Evaluate boiler system performance, recommend improvements, and implement solutions to enhance reliability and efficiency.
Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and client teams to plan and execute major repairs or upgrades.
Enforce stringent adherence to all safety protocols including LOTO, confined space entry, and environmental regulations.
Lead safety audits and risk assessments on-site, promoting a culture of safety among the service team and clients.
Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and standards such as ASME, NBIC, and local regulations.
Serve as the primary technical liaison with clients, providing expert advice, progress updates, and post-service reports.
Develop detailed service documentation, including inspection reports, repair records, and recommendations.
Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to support contract bids and technical proposals.
Mentor and train field technicians, fostering technical skill development and safety awareness.
Lead training sessions and workshops on advanced boiler technologies, diagnostic methods, and best practices.
Continuously improve service processes and techniques based on field experience and industry trends.

Education:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Power Plant Technology, or related field preferred
Certifications (Required or Preferred):
Valid 1st or 2nd Class Boiler Operator License or equivalent
Relevant field service and safety certifications (OSHA 30, Confined Space, Hot Work)
Experience:
8+ years of progressive experience in boiler field service within power plants or industrial settings
Demonstrated expertise in high-pressure boilers, burner systems, and auxiliary equipment maintenance and repair
Skills:
Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex field environments
Strong leadership, communication, and client management abilities
Proficiency with diagnostic instrumentation and maintenance management software
In-depth knowledge of boiler codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations
