Job Summary:

The Senior Field Sales Supervisor leads and manages a high-performing team of field sales representatives to drive revenue growth, market penetration, and customer satisfaction. This role is responsible for strategic territory planning, sales execution, trade relationship management, and ensuring alignment with organizational sales targets and standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee a team of field sales executives across multiple routes or zones.

  • Develop and implement field sales strategies, route optimization plans, and market expansion initiatives.

  • Monitor team performance against sales KPIs and ensure achievement of individual and team targets.

  • Maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and trade partners.

  • Conduct market visits, team coaching, and performance reviews regularly.

  • Analyze sales trends, market feedback, and competitor activity to recommend strategic adjustments.

  • Supervise in-store promotions, merchandising execution, and new product launches.

  • Ensure accurate reporting of sales data, territory coverage, and field activities.

  • Coordinate with supply chain and operations to ensure timely order fulfillment and stock availability.

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training of field sales staff.

  • Enforce company compliance in pricing, trade deals, and operational procedures.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

  • 5–8 years of experience in field sales, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or regional lead capacity.

  • Proven track record of managing sales teams and delivering consistent revenue growth.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Excel, and sales analytics.

  • Deep understanding of route-to-market strategies, distributor management, and trade marketing.

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across the assigned region.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry experience in FMCG, telecom, pharmaceutical, or B2B field sales.

  • Multilingual proficiency (based on region) is a plus.

  • Experience in launching products, setting up new territories, or restructuring sales zones.
