The Mid-Level Field Sales Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of field sales representatives to ensure consistent sales performance, strong customer relationships, and optimal market coverage. This role involves planning sales routes, executing promotional activities, and ensuring the team meets revenue and distribution goals in the assigned territory.
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of a team of field sales executives.
Monitor sales targets, route efficiency, and performance KPIs across the assigned region.
Develop and implement area sales plans to maximize product visibility and availability.
Conduct regular market visits, assess team effectiveness, and coach for performance improvement.
Manage field team schedules, route plans, and customer engagement strategies.
Assist in resolving escalated client issues and strengthen customer loyalty.
Ensure timely collection of market intelligence, including competitor pricing, promotions, and stock levels.
Coordinate closely with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure proper order fulfillment.
Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports and provide feedback to senior sales management.
Ensure compliance with company sales policies, pricing, and brand guidelines.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in field sales, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
Strong knowledge of territory management, route planning, and retail sales execution.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to analyze market data and make tactical sales decisions.
Familiarity with CRM or sales tracking tools and MS Office applications.
Valid driver’s license (if applicable for the role).
Experience in FMCG, telecom, pharmaceuticals, or direct-to-retail sales.
Exposure to trade marketing and in-store execution.
Proficiency in local languages depending on region.
