The Supervisor – Field Instrumentation Technician leads and manages the field instrumentation team at manufacturing sites. This role involves planning, coordinating, and supervising all activities related to installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of field instruments to ensure optimal process control and operational efficiency.
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of field instrumentation technicians across manufacturing sites.
Plan and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of instrumentation devices.
Ensure timely and accurate installation, calibration, and troubleshooting of field instruments such as pressure transmitters, flow meters, temperature sensors, and analyzers.
Oversee commissioning and start-up activities for new or upgraded instrumentation systems.
Maintain detailed maintenance records, calibration logs, and compliance documentation.
Enforce adherence to safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality teams to resolve instrumentation issues and implement improvements.
Mentor and develop technical skills of the instrumentation team members.
Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance tools related to instrumentation.

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or related field
5+ years of experience in field instrumentation with at least 2 years in a supervisory role

Proven leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) is an advantage
