We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Facilities HVAC Supervisor to assist in overseeing HVAC systems maintenance and operations within the power plant facilities. This entry-level supervisory role is suited for candidates with basic HVAC knowledge who are eager to develop leadership skills while supporting safe, efficient, and reliable HVAC system performance.
Assist in supervising routine maintenance, inspection, and minor repair activities of HVAC equipment, including chillers, air handling units (AHUs), ventilation fans, and cooling towers.
Monitor HVAC system performance and report any irregularities or required maintenance actions.
Support proper startup and shutdown procedures following senior staff instructions.
Help assign daily tasks to HVAC technicians and maintenance staff under senior supervision.
Provide hands-on support and guidance to junior technicians during repairs and maintenance.
Maintain shift logs and assist with workforce scheduling.
Follow all safety protocols related to HVAC operations within power plant facilities.
Ensure team members use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Assist with safety audits, toolbox talks, and emergency drills.
Help maintain spare parts inventory for HVAC equipment and notify seniors when replenishment is needed.
Document maintenance activities, equipment status, and submit reports to senior supervisors.
Assist in updating HVAC maintenance records and compliance files.
Participate in training programs related to HVAC systems, power plant facility operations, and safety.
Stay updated on standard operating procedures and mechanical codes relevant to HVAC maintenance.
Develop troubleshooting and diagnostic skills under senior guidance.
Assist in HVAC maintenance and minor repairs within power plant facilities
Support team task coordination and safety enforcement
Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and inventory control
Develop hands-on HVAC technical and supervisory skills
Education:
Diploma or technical certificate in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Experience:
0–2 years of experience in HVAC maintenance or facilities support, preferably in industrial or power plant settings
Skills:
Basic understanding of HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, ventilation, and cooling towers
Ability to read basic mechanical drawings and manuals
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Commitment to safety and preventive maintenance
Willingness to learn and follow instructions carefully
