The Facilities Engineer (Mid-Level) is responsible for the efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of facility systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems. This role plays a key part in supporting day-to-day building operations, executing preventive maintenance plans, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Monitor and maintain mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
Conduct routine inspections and troubleshoot building system issues.
Implement and manage preventive maintenance schedules.
Coordinate with contractors and service providers for repairs, installations, and inspections.
Support emergency response protocols and ensure readiness of safety systems.
Assist in preparing maintenance records, service logs, and compliance reports.
Contribute to energy-saving initiatives and sustainability projects.
Ensure adherence to safety procedures and building code compliance.
Provide technical support for minor renovations, system upgrades, and equipment installations.
Report system performance and suggest improvements for reliability and efficiency.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering.
3–5 years of relevant experience in facilities management or building operations.
Good knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and control systems.
Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and facility monitoring tools.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication and coordination abilities.
Attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
Working knowledge of regulatory and safety standards applicable to buildings.
Ability to manage vendor coordination and small maintenance teams.
