We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Fabrication Supervisor to lead and manage complex fabrication operations within our workshop or site-based projects. This role involves full responsibility for the execution of fabrication activities, ensuring alignment with engineering drawings, quality standards, and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in welding, fitting, structural fabrication, and pressure part assembly, and will play a strategic role in mentoring teams, optimizing productivity, and driving continuous improvement.
Lead and supervise multiple fabrication teams across shifts or work areas.
Develop and implement work plans and schedules to meet project timelines.
Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and leadership to junior and mid-level staff.
Oversee all fabrication activities to ensure compliance with codes and standards (ASME, API, AWS, etc.).
Review complex fabrication and welding drawings and translate them into executable plans.
Coordinate closely with QA/QC departments for inspections, testing, and approvals.
Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, quality issues, and resource shortages.
Lead initiatives for process improvement, cost control, and waste reduction.
Monitor KPIs and prepare detailed reports for fabrication progress and team performance.
Enforce strict adherence to HSE policies and ensure fabrication processes meet safety and environmental standards.
Conduct safety briefings, lead incident investigations, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Promote a strong safety culture through proactive leadership and accountability.
Collaborate with project engineers, planners, procurement, and logistics teams to align fabrication with overall project needs.
Attend coordination meetings and provide input on fabrication readiness, risks, and resource planning.
Serve as the primary point of contact for senior management regarding fabrication operations.
Oversight of large-scale or high-spec fabrication operations

Driving performance improvements and best practices
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fabrication Technology, or related discipline
Advanced certifications such as CSWIP 3.1/3.2, AWS CWI, or equivalent are strongly preferred
8–12 years of fabrication experience in the oil & gas, power, or heavy industrial sectors
Proven experience leading multi-discipline teams in a fabrication environment
Experience handling high-pressure piping, structural assemblies, and pressure vessels
Expert in reading fabrication/welding drawings, WPS/PQR, and interpreting international standards
Strong knowledge of fabrication and welding codes: ASME Sec VIII/IX, API 650/660, AWS D1.1, etc.
Skilled in workshop layout planning, material traceability, and inspection readiness
Strong leadership, delegation, and conflict resolution abilities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
High attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement
