We are looking for a seasoned Senior Fabrication Foreman / Shop Foreman to lead complex and large-scale fabrication projects within our facility. This role requires a highly experienced professional with deep technical expertise in structural, piping, and pressure equipment fabrication. You will be responsible for managing shop operations, supervising fabrication teams, ensuring quality compliance, and maintaining productivity and safety standards. The ideal candidate will play a key role in planning, execution, and team development.
Supervise and mentor teams of welders, fitters, and helpers across multiple shifts or project streams.
Allocate manpower and resources efficiently based on workload and project priorities.
Enforce discipline, maintain morale, and drive high team performance.
Lead the execution of large-scale fabrication jobs (e.g., pressure vessels, heavy pipe spools, tanks, structural skids) from start to completion.
Collaborate with engineering, planning, and QA/QC teams for workflow planning and delivery timelines.
Prepare material take-offs, fabrication schedules, and progress tracking tools.
Interpret and review fabrication drawings, isometrics, and P&IDs.
Ensure all fabrication works comply with codes such as ASME, API, AWS, and client-specific standards.
Coordinate closely with QA/QC during inspections, hydro testing, and client approvals.
Champion safety culture and ensure strict adherence to HSE procedures and policies.
Lead incident investigations, safety drills, and conduct daily toolbox talks.
Identify risks and implement preventive safety measures on the shop floor.
Introduce best practices to improve welding quality, reduce rework, and increase shop efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of production, attendance, downtime, and consumables.
Provide technical feedback to engineering for fabrication optimization.

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Technology, or related field
Certification in welding inspection (CSWIP 3.1/3.2, AWS-CWI) is highly preferred
Additional HSE or supervisory certifications (IOSH/NEBOSH) are a plus
Minimum 10+ years of fabrication experience, with at least 5 years in a senior supervisory capacity
Proven experience in managing pressure vessels, piping, or structural fabrication in oil & gas, power, or heavy industries
Familiarity with NDT processes, WPS/PQR, and material traceability systems
Strong leadership, planning, and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency in fabrication codes and standards (ASME VIII, IX, API 650, 1104, etc.)
Hands-on knowledge of fabrication shop equipment, welding machines, and layout tools
Ability to drive performance under pressure and maintain quality across shifts
