We are looking for a Junior Fabrication Engineer (Mechanical) to support the fabrication process of mechanical components and assemblies. The ideal candidate will assist in interpreting engineering drawings, coordinating with the production team, and ensuring quality and efficiency in fabrication tasks.
Assist in interpreting mechanical drawings and blueprints for fabrication projects.
Coordinate with senior engineers and workshop teams to ensure smooth production flow.
Monitor fabrication processes including cutting, welding, bending, and assembling of mechanical parts.
Ensure components are fabricated as per design specifications and quality standards.
Conduct basic quality checks and assist with inspections.
Maintain proper documentation of fabrication progress and material usage.
Support in preparing BOM (Bill of Materials) and material requisitions.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company SOPs.
Participate in troubleshooting and resolving fabrication-related issues.
Assist in maintaining tools and equipment in the fabrication workshop.
Technical Drawing Interpretation: Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and CAD designs.
Fabrication Knowledge: Basic understanding of fabrication techniques (cutting, welding, grinding, etc.).
Quality Assurance: Awareness of quality control processes and inspection standards.
Coordination: Supporting smooth communication between design, production, and quality teams.
Safety Compliance: Strict adherence to safety and operational guidelines.
Continuous Learning: Willingness to learn from senior engineers and adapt to new tools and technologies.
