The Executive Vice President (EVP) – Fabrication Division is responsible for overseeing the strategic, commercial, and operational leadership of the company’s fabrication operations. This includes directing large-scale steel structure, piping, pressure vessel, skid, and modular fabrication projects for clients in oil & gas, power, and infrastructure sectors. The EVP drives excellence in project delivery, cost efficiency, safety, and quality across all fabrication facilities.
Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the fabrication division to meet growth, revenue, and profitability targets.
Oversee shop and yard operations, including welding, machining, assembly, surface treatment, and quality control.
Ensure strict compliance with international codes and standards (ASME, API, AWS, ISO, etc.) in all fabrication works.
Lead cross-functional teams in project bidding, planning, execution, and client engagement.
Implement lean manufacturing, automation, and productivity-enhancing initiatives across fabrication units.
Foster strong client relationships and drive new business opportunities through partnerships with EPCs, OEMs, and end users.
Manage project risk, delivery schedules, and contract performance with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Maintain workforce competency and safety through continuous training and certification programs.
Report division performance, investment needs, and growth initiatives to the CEO and executive board.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
15+ years of experience in industrial or structural fabrication, including 5+ years in executive or general management roles.
Deep knowledge of fabrication processes including welding, cutting, forming, piping, vessel fabrication, and modular assembly.
Proven success in managing large fabrication facilities or multi-site operations.
Strong knowledge of industry regulations and quality management systems.
Solid leadership, P&L management, and strategic planning capabilities.
Experience in heavy fabrication for oil & gas, power plants, or large infrastructure projects.
Familiarity with ERP, MRP, and production tracking systems.
Expertise in cost optimization, production planning, and supply chain coordination.
Strong communication and negotiation skills with a global customer base.
