The Executive Director – Digital Operations is responsible for leading and executing the company’s digital operations strategy to drive performance improvement, operational agility, and digital enablement across all business units. This role oversees digital platforms, smart workflows, automation, data governance, and end-to-end process digitization to enhance productivity and competitive advantage.
Develop and implement a holistic digital operations roadmap aligned with organizational goals.
Drive digital maturity assessments, operating model transformations, and adoption of emerging technologies.
Lead the transition from legacy systems to integrated digital platforms, cloud-first infrastructure, and real-time analytics.
Champion the use of RPA (Robotic Process Automation), AI/ML, workflow automation, and digital twins to reduce costs and enhance speed.
Identify high-impact business processes for digitization, standardization, and automation across functions like supply chain, finance, HR, and customer service.
Collaborate with business leaders to improve OEE, lead times, and service delivery using digital tools.
Lead enterprise data strategy, including data quality, master data management, and real-time visibility.
Oversee deployment of BI dashboards, analytics tools, and predictive models for smarter business decisions.
Foster a data-driven culture across the organization by enabling self-service analytics and insights democratization.
Build organizational readiness for digital transformation through communication, training, and leadership engagement.
Drive digital capability development across teams and functions.
Lead agile, cross-functional teams to ensure user adoption and ROI realization from digital initiatives.
Evaluate and integrate new digital technologies including IoT, cloud platforms, low-code tools, AI/ML, and blockchain where relevant.
Build strategic partnerships with technology vendors, startups, and consultants.
Ensure cybersecurity, compliance, and risk governance in all digital operations.
Visionary leadership in digital transformation, smart operations, and process innovation.
Strong understanding of enterprise systems (ERP, MES, CRM), cloud architecture, and automation tools.
Proven success in managing large-scale digital programs and agile transformation.
Expertise in data strategy, analytics, and performance optimization.
Strategic thinking with strong execution capability and cross-functional collaboration.
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
15–20+ years of experience in digital transformation, operations, or IT leadership
Proven record of leading enterprise-level digital initiatives across multiple geographies or business units
Certifications in Digital Strategy, Lean Six Sigma, or Agile are advantageous
