Job Title: Employee Relations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Employee Relations Manager to lead and manage all aspects of employee relations within the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive workplace culture, resolving conflicts effectively, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and aligning employee behavior with company values and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the resolution of complex employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and investigations.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on employee relations matters, promoting fairness and consistency.

  • Develop and update employee relations policies, procedures, and handbooks in alignment with legal standards and organizational goals.

  • Monitor workplace culture and recommend improvements to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement.

  • Lead or assist in internal investigations, ensuring thorough documentation and appropriate resolutions.

  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks and ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations.

  • Conduct training sessions on conflict resolution, workplace conduct, and compliance topics for managers and employees.

  • Analyze employee relations metrics and trends to provide insights and develop preventive strategies.

  • Support change management initiatives and assist in managing organizational transitions smoothly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)

  • 5–8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years focused on employee relations

  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and dispute resolution practices

  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills

  • Experience handling sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism

  • Proficiency in HRIS and case management systems

  • Relevant certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or CIPD are a plus
