Job Title: Employee Relations Specialist (Mid-Level)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and empathetic Employee Relations Specialist (Mid-Level) to support and enhance workplace harmony by managing employee relations matters, resolving conflicts, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal policies. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to both employees and management, balancing business needs with employee welfare while promoting a respectful and positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers on employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance issues.

  • Conduct thorough investigations into workplace complaints and recommend appropriate action based on findings.

  • Advise managers on the application of policies, procedures, and labor law requirements to ensure consistent and fair handling of employee issues.

  • Maintain detailed documentation and case tracking of employee relations issues, investigations, and resolutions.

  • Identify recurring employee concerns or risk areas and recommend proactive solutions.

  • Support change management initiatives, employee engagement strategies, and organizational culture programs.

  • Collaborate with HR, legal, and compliance teams to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Facilitate workshops and awareness sessions related to conduct, ethics, and professional workplace behavior.

  • Monitor employee morale, workplace dynamics, and internal communication to ensure a healthy work environment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field

  • 3–5 years of experience in employee relations or generalist HR roles

  • Solid understanding of labor laws and employment regulations (UAE/GCC experience preferred)

  • Proven ability to conduct investigations and manage sensitive situations

  • Excellent interpersonal, mediation, and conflict-resolution skills

  • Strong documentation, analytical, and decision-making capabilities

  • High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems
