Job Title: Employee Relations Specialist (Junior Level)

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Employee Relations Specialist (Junior Level) to support the HR department in managing employee concerns, workplace issues, and compliance with company policies. This role plays a key part in maintaining a positive and productive work environment by assisting in conflict resolution processes, conducting initial investigations, and supporting HR in policy implementation. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a high level of discretion, and a foundational understanding of labor law and employee relations practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the handling of employee grievances, complaints, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.

  • Assist in conducting preliminary fact-finding investigations related to disciplinary actions or policy violations.

  • Document employee concerns and maintain accurate records of conversations, follow-ups, and resolutions.

  • Ensure employee relations processes are consistent and in line with company policies and legal requirements.

  • Support HR management in implementing engagement, retention, and workplace improvement initiatives.

  • Help in organizing awareness sessions and workshops related to company policies, ethics, and workplace conduct.

  • Monitor workplace climate by gathering feedback and identifying areas of concern or conflict.

  • Collaborate with HR colleagues on exit interviews, probation reviews, and employee satisfaction tracking.

  • Assist in drafting employee communications related to workplace behavior, policy reminders, and updates.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field

  • 0–2 years of experience in an HR support or employee relations role (internships or entry-level experience acceptable)

  • Basic knowledge of employment law and HR policies (UAE labor law knowledge is a plus)

  • Strong interpersonal, listening, and communication skills

  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with confidentiality and professionalism

  • Good organizational and documentation skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Strong ethics, empathy, and a collaborative mindset
