The E-Commerce Fulfillment Specialist – Junior Level is responsible for managing the end-to-end order fulfillment process, ensuring timely and accurate processing, packing, and shipping of online orders. This role involves inventory management, logistics coordination, and quality control to enhance customer satisfaction and optimize fulfillment operations. The ideal candidate has some experience in e-commerce fulfillment, strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to improving processes.
Process, pick, pack, and ship e-commerce orders efficiently and accurately.
Ensure compliance with packaging guidelines and quality control measures.
Monitor and update order statuses in the e-commerce system.
Address order discrepancies, returns, and exchanges in coordination with customer service.
Track and maintain inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
Conduct routine inventory audits and reconcile stock discrepancies.
Organize and label stock for easy accessibility and accuracy in order picking.
Assist in forecasting demand to optimize inventory replenishment.
Work closely with courier partners to schedule pickups, track shipments, and resolve delivery issues.
Ensure all shipping labels, invoices, and return documents are correctly processed.
Optimize shipping processes to reduce costs and improve delivery speed.
Implement best practices for handling international shipments and customs documentation (if applicable).
Identify and suggest improvements to enhance fulfillment efficiency and accuracy.
Maintain fulfillment performance reports, including order processing times, error rates, and shipping delays.
Support the implementation of automation tools to streamline operations.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (preferred but not required).
1-3 years of experience in e-commerce fulfillment, logistics, or inventory management.
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento) and order management systems.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in working with shipping carriers and logistics coordination.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and inventory tracking software.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
