Job Title: Diversity & Inclusion Specialist (Junior Level)

Job Summary

As a Junior Diversity & Inclusion Specialist, you will play a foundational role in promoting inclusive workplace policies and programs. You will support internal D&I campaigns, assist in data collection and reporting, coordinate with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), and help ensure company-wide awareness of diversity and equity practices. This role is ideal for someone passionate about people, social impact, and driving change within an organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination and execution of D&I programs, workshops, and awareness campaigns.

  • Support internal communication strategies that promote inclusive language, cultural awareness, and accessibility.

  • Maintain and update D&I content, including intranet resources, presentations, and training materials.

  • Collaborate with Employee Resource Groups and support their events, initiatives, and reporting.

  • Collect and analyze diversity metrics, employee feedback, and survey data to support reporting and improvement efforts.

  • Assist in researching best practices and trends in workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion.

  • Coordinate logistics for D&I-related meetings, training sessions, and external partnerships.

  • Help ensure that recruitment, onboarding, and workplace practices align with inclusive principles.

  • Diversity event coordination and internal campaign support

  • ERG and stakeholder collaboration

  • Data collection, tracking, and reporting

  • Content development for D&I awareness and education

  • Inclusive communication and workplace practice support

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field

  • 0–2 years of experience in HR, employee engagement, CSR, or D&I-related work (internship experience acceptable)

  • Strong interest in workplace diversity, inclusion, and employee wellbeing

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with HRIS or survey tools is a plus

  • Open-minded, empathetic, and culturally sensitive attitude
