Job Title: Director of Talent Acquisition

Job Summary:

The Director of Talent Acquisition is responsible for leading and optimizing the organization’s recruitment function. This role oversees the development and execution of innovative talent acquisition strategies that align with business goals, foster a strong employer brand, and ensure the hiring of high-quality candidates. Working closely with executive leadership, HR business partners, and departmental heads, the Director ensures a consistent and effective hiring process that supports scalability, diversity, and workforce planning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement end-to-end talent acquisition strategies across all departments and regions.

  • Lead and manage recruitment teams, external sourcing partners, and internal stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with senior leaders to understand workforce needs and forecast hiring requirements.

  • Oversee recruitment marketing, branding initiatives, and online presence across job platforms.

  • Evaluate and select applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools to support high-volume and strategic hiring.

  • Establish hiring KPIs such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality-of-hire, and track performance against targets.

  • Partner with HR, L&D, and DEI teams to ensure alignment of talent initiatives and cultural goals.

  • Maintain compliance with labor laws, data privacy regulations, and internal hiring policies.

  • Provide regular reports and presentations to executives on recruitment performance and trends.

  • Strategic Workforce Planning: Align recruitment strategies with short-term and long-term business goals.

  • Employer Branding: Position the organization as an employer of choice through campaigns and strategic messaging.

  • Digital Recruitment: Leverage technology, AI tools, and ATS platforms to enhance sourcing and efficiency.

  • Diversity & Inclusion: Implement inclusive hiring practices that build diverse talent pipelines.

  • Candidate Experience: Drive a seamless, professional, and engaging candidate journey.

  • Recruitment Analytics: Use data to track hiring metrics, optimize performance, and report on ROI.

  • Team Leadership: Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing recruitment team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, including 3–5 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven track record in managing large-scale recruitment strategies, ideally in fast-paced or multi-national organizations.

  • Deep knowledge of recruitment technologies, sourcing methods, and employer branding.

  • Strong understanding of labor market dynamics, compliance, and recruitment best practices.

  • Experience managing recruitment teams and external vendor relationships.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
