The Director of Key Accounts is responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to manage and grow relationships with the company’s most important clients. This role ensures customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth by delivering tailored solutions, leading a team of key account managers, and acting as the senior point of contact for strategic accounts.
Strategic Account Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients to understand their business needs and deliver value-added solutions.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of Key Account Managers, ensuring performance targets and service standards are consistently met or exceeded.
Revenue Growth:
Drive revenue growth from key accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and strategic expansion.
Client Engagement:
Serve as the primary escalation point for major client issues, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution.
Collaboration:
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to coordinate account strategies and align internal resources with client needs.
Contract Negotiations:
Lead contract renewals and negotiations with key accounts to maximize profitability and secure long-term partnerships.
Reporting & Forecasting:
Provide regular updates on key account performance, forecasts, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership.
Market Intelligence:
Stay current with industry trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics to proactively address client challenges and uncover new opportunities.
Proven experience in senior account management, client services, or sales leadership roles.
Demonstrated success managing multi-million-dollar accounts or enterprise clients.
Strong leadership and team management skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
