The Director – Pumps and Motors is responsible for leading the strategic direction, sales growth, and technical positioning of the company’s pumps and motors portfolio. This includes driving product development, managing large-scale projects, engaging with key customers across industrial sectors (oil & gas, utilities, water, power, and manufacturing), and ensuring alignment between engineering capabilities and market needs.
Define and implement business strategies for pumps and motors product lines (API, ANSI, submersible, centrifugal, gear motors, etc.).
Lead growth initiatives across markets such as water infrastructure, wastewater, oil & gas, power plants, and industrial processing.
Drive expansion into new territories and client segments through product positioning and strategic alliances.
Manage high-value client relationships and strategic accounts.
Oversee sales targets, forecasts, and performance metrics across regional teams.
Support pre-sales activities, major tenders, and commercial negotiations with EPCs, OEMs, and consultants.
Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams on product enhancements, new developments, and compliance with international standards (API 610/682, ISO, etc.).
Lead root cause analysis, performance troubleshooting, and lifecycle support strategies.
Ensure technical proposals and after-sales solutions align with customer needs.
Oversee large turnkey pump and motor supply and service contracts from proposal to delivery.
Ensure project execution aligns with contractual, technical, and budgetary targets.
Lead and mentor regional sales and application engineering teams.
Promote cross-functional collaboration between sales, engineering, and service teams.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
Report KPIs, strategic progress, and investment needs to executive leadership.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master’s or MBA preferred)
12–15+ years of experience in pumps and/or motors industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of industrial and infrastructure applications, including API/ANSI standards
Experience working with EPCs, OEMs, and industrial end-users
Familiarity with condition monitoring, digital twins, and motor control systems is a plus
