The Director – Plant Services & HVAC Projects is responsible for overseeing all plant services operations and leading HVAC-related projects within a power plant facility. This senior role ensures efficient delivery of HVAC maintenance, upgrades, and capital projects while maintaining high standards of safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance. The director manages multidisciplinary teams, coordinates with stakeholders, and drives continuous improvement in plant services.
Oversee day-to-day operations of plant services including HVAC systems, utilities, and facility maintenance.
Ensure timely maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment to maximize operational availability.
Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs aligned with plant operational goals.
Plan, manage, and execute HVAC capital projects such as system upgrades, expansions, and retrofits.
Coordinate project activities including design review, procurement, contractor management, testing, and commissioning.
Ensure projects comply with industry standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA), safety protocols, and budget constraints.
Enforce strict adherence to safety procedures and environmental regulations within plant services and project execution.
Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and lead incident investigations related to HVAC operations.
Maintain documentation and reporting for compliance audits.
Lead, mentor, and develop teams of HVAC engineers, technicians, and support staff.
Foster a collaborative culture focused on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Manage resource allocation, workforce scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Liaise with plant operations, engineering, procurement, and external contractors to ensure smooth project delivery and plant service performance.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on plant services status and project progress.

Education:

Strong knowledge of HVAC system design, operation, and maintenance standards
