We are seeking an innovative and results-oriented Director – Digital Power Systems to lead the strategic integration of digital technologies into power generation, transmission, and distribution systems. This leadership role will drive the adoption of advanced control, automation, monitoring, and optimization platforms to enable intelligent, efficient, and resilient power infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bridge power system engineering with digital transformation, delivering data-driven solutions for smart grid operations, predictive maintenance, and decentralized energy management.
Define and execute the digital transformation roadmap for power systems across generation, transmission, and distribution.
Lead implementation of digital platforms including Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), SCADA, IoT, and AI/ML-powered analytics.
Oversee real-time monitoring, grid stability solutions, digital twins, and system modeling for predictive diagnostics and asset optimization.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, IT, and cybersecurity teams to design secure, scalable, and reliable digital architectures.
Drive integration of renewable energy sources, battery storage, and microgrids into the digital power management framework.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards (IEEE, IEC, NERC, ISO, cybersecurity frameworks).
Evaluate and implement new technologies such as edge computing, DERMS, digital substations, and condition-based maintenance.
Lead vendor selection, system integration, and platform standardization across multiple sites or business units.
Build and manage a high-performance team of digital engineers, power systems analysts, and project managers.
Serve as the internal and external technical authority on digital power systems strategy, innovation, and operations.

15–20+ years of experience in power systems engineering, including 5+ years in digital transformation or executive leadership roles
Proven expertise in implementing digital control, automation, and monitoring systems in the energy sector
Deep knowledge of power system operations, protection, and smart grid platforms
Experience with leading platforms (e.g., GE Grid, Siemens Spectrum, Schneider EcoStruxure, ABB Ability)
Strong grasp of cybersecurity protocols (e.g., IEC 62443, NIST, NERC CIP)
Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration skills
