The Senior Data Logger Analyst is responsible for overseeing the full scope of temperature and environmental data logging systems across manufacturing and supply chain operations. The role ensures HACCP compliance, regulatory adherence, and accurate documentation related to critical control points (CCPs) and preventive controls. This includes strategic data analytics, audit readiness, team supervision, and system optimization.
Lead the design, deployment, and validation of data logging systems for cold rooms, processing zones, hot-hold areas, and transport vehicles.
Manage end-to-end logger operations, including sensor configuration, calibration protocols, and data integrity reviews.
Ensure consistent monitoring of CCPs through real-time and batch-based temperature/humidity tracking.
Prepare comprehensive reports, deviation summaries, and CAPA documentation for internal and external audits.
Serve as the primary liaison for certification bodies (e.g., BRCGS, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, FSMA, FDA).
Analyze historical logger data to detect trends, anomalies, or risk patterns across production and logistics operations.
Generate dashboards and compliance KPIs using software such as Excel, Power BI, or logger-specific platforms.
Supervise junior and mid-level data logger analysts and train cross-functional teams on HACCP data logging protocols.
Develop SOPs, work instructions, and training modules for logger use and compliance monitoring.
Oversee the calibration schedule and performance checks for all logging devices in collaboration with QA and maintenance teams.
Participate in temperature mapping studies, seasonal re-validations, and thermal profiling exercises.
Evaluate new IoT-based logger systems and software upgrades to improve traceability and automation.
Collaborate with IT and vendors on system integrations, cloud storage solutions, and alert mechanisms.
