Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Fresher Control Systems Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and commissioning of industrial control systems. This role offers practical, hands-on experience in working with PLCs, DCS, SCADA, and instrumentation systems in real-world engineering projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing control system architectures including PLCs, DCS, RTUs, SCADA, and HMIs.

  • Participate in programming, configuration, and testing of control systems under supervision.

  • Support integration of field instrumentation (pressure, flow, temperature, level sensors) with control hardware.

  • Assist in preparing wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and control panel layouts.

  • Contribute to FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) activities.

  • Help perform signal checks, I/O mapping, loop tuning, and basic troubleshooting at site or in test environments.

  • Collaborate with senior engineers on system documentation, user manuals, and technical reports.

  • Learn and apply relevant industry standards (ISA, IEC, ISO, etc.).

  • Adhere to safety and project protocols during design and site activities.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Control Systems, or Mechatronics Engineering.

  • Basic understanding of control system concepts (PID control, open/closed loop, I/O types, etc.).

  • Familiarity with PLC/DCS platforms (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Honeywell, ABB, Schneider).

  • Good analytical and logical thinking skills.

  • Willingness to learn and travel to project or client sites.


Preferred Skills (Optional for Freshers):

  • Exposure to ladder logic, FBD, or structured text programming.

  • Basic understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, OPC, etc.).

  • Internships or academic projects related to automation/control systems.

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, EPLAN, or any control panel design software is a plus.
