We are seeking an experienced and highly competent Senior Construction Supervisor – Mechanical Systems to lead and oversee mechanical construction activities across large-scale industrial or oil & gas projects. The role demands strong leadership, deep technical expertise in mechanical installations (piping, pressure equipment, rotating/static machinery), and the ability to coordinate complex scopes across multiple contractors while ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence. This position plays a critical role in delivering mechanical systems that meet engineering and regulatory standards.
Lead end-to-end supervision of mechanical construction, including fabrication, installation, erection, alignment, and mechanical completion of piping systems, vessels, tanks, and rotating equipment.
Develop and enforce daily and weekly construction work plans in line with project schedules and lookahead plans.
Monitor manpower allocation, productivity, and resource utilization across mechanical work fronts.
Champion a strong safety culture and ensure full compliance with project and statutory HSE standards.
Conduct risk assessments and verify implementation of control measures for high-risk activities (hot work, confined spaces, heavy lifts).
Lead incident investigations and implement preventive measures.
Ensure all mechanical construction activities adhere to engineering specifications, codes (ASME, API, etc.), and client standards.
Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspection hold points, testing (hydrostatic, pneumatic), and mechanical completion activities.
Validate redline drawings, turnover packages, and system handovers.
Interface with project managers, construction managers, engineering teams, and third-party inspectors.
Report progress, risks, material bottlenecks, and change requests to upper management.
Participate in construction review meetings and contribute to strategic planning and decision-making.

Bachelor’s or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.
Additional training in project management or construction supervision is a plus.
8–12+ years of experience in mechanical construction, with at least 4 years in a supervisory role.
Proven experience on large EPC or industrial projects (oil & gas, petrochemicals, power, etc.).
In-depth knowledge of mechanical construction techniques, materials, and codes (ASME B31.3, API 650, API 610, etc.).
Competency in interpreting construction drawings, P&IDs, equipment layouts, and weld maps.
Familiar with project controls, construction software, and progress measurement techniques.
Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Decisive, detail-oriented, and safety-driven.
OSHA 30 / NEBOSH / HSE Supervisor Certification.
API / ASME Construction or QA/QC training is advantageous.
