The Construction Site Supervisor (Mid-Level) is responsible for managing and coordinating daily site activities to ensure that construction work is completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. This role involves direct supervision of labor teams, subcontractors, and site logistics, as well as communication with engineers and project management.
Supervise and manage on-site construction activities, labor force, and subcontractors.
Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with technical drawings, specifications, and construction standards.
Coordinate the delivery and use of materials, equipment, and machinery.
Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards on the job site.
Prepare and maintain daily site reports, logs, and documentation.
Identify and resolve minor technical issues on-site in coordination with the site engineer.
Ensure quality control by inspecting work and reporting non-conformities.
Participate in site meetings and provide progress updates to the project team.
Maintain discipline, productivity, and efficiency among the site workforce.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in a site supervisory or construction coordination role.
Sound understanding of construction methods, practices, and materials.
Ability to interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
Effective communication skills for coordination with teams and reporting.
Familiarity with MS Office, project scheduling tools, and site reporting apps.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks on active sites.
