The Mid-Level Construction Engineer is responsible for managing and coordinating on-site construction activities, ensuring that all works comply with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. This role supports the project team in technical decision-making, progress monitoring, and supervising subcontractors and construction crews.
Supervise and coordinate on-site construction activities to ensure alignment with design and schedule.
Review technical drawings, specifications, and work procedures; resolve any on-site discrepancies.
Monitor progress and quality of work, and report issues to senior project management.
Conduct inspections to ensure structural integrity, safety compliance, and workmanship standards.
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and client representatives.
Assist in preparing daily/weekly progress reports, site documentation, and material requisitions.
Support in quantity estimation, cost monitoring, and resource planning.
Enforce HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) policies and site safety regulations.
Assist in resolving technical issues and participate in site meetings and client inspections.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in construction engineering or site supervision roles.
Proficient in reading technical drawings and specifications.
Good command of AutoCAD, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of construction codes, safety regulations, and QA/QC procedures.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Good leadership and team coordination abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines under pressure.
Effective verbal and written communication for coordination and reporting.
