The Junior Construction Engineer supports project planning, coordination, and execution activities on construction sites. This role involves assisting senior engineers with site supervision, quality control, documentation, and ensuring that construction activities align with design specifications, safety regulations, and project timelines.
Assist in supervising daily construction activities and ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
Support in preparing construction drawings, layouts, and technical documentation.
Monitor work progress and report discrepancies or delays to the site engineer or project manager.
Conduct basic quality checks on materials and workmanship.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and assist in implementing site safety protocols.
Help manage site records including material usage, manpower deployment, and progress reports.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other technical staff to support smooth site operations.
Attend site meetings and support in resolving minor technical or coordination issues.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
0–2 years of experience in a construction or engineering role (internship or training acceptable).
Basic knowledge of construction methods, structural systems, and building materials.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office, and project documentation tools.
Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced construction environment.
Good communication and team coordination skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
Physically fit and willing to work on-site under varying conditions.
