We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Condition Monitoring Technician with extensive expertise in vibration analysis, oil analysis, and other predictive maintenance technologies. This role requires leadership in implementing and managing condition monitoring programs to ensure the reliability and health of mechanical assets. The senior technician will provide technical guidance, perform advanced diagnostics, and collaborate closely with reliability engineers and maintenance teams to drive continuous improvement in asset performance.
Lead vibration data collection and perform complex analysis to identify root causes of equipment anomalies and failures.
Develop and optimize vibration monitoring routes and diagnostic strategies for critical assets.
Mentor and train junior technicians on vibration data collection and interpretation.
Oversee the oil sampling program and conduct detailed interpretation of laboratory results to recommend corrective actions.
Establish lubrication best practices and work with maintenance teams to improve lubrication reliability.
Lead contamination control and lubricant condition monitoring initiatives.
Utilize additional condition monitoring techniques such as thermography, ultrasonic testing, and motor current analysis to complement vibration and oil analysis.
Integrate multi-source data to provide comprehensive equipment health assessments.
Develop and maintain condition monitoring standards, procedures, and KPIs aligned with industry best practices.
Prepare detailed technical reports, reliability dashboards, and executive summaries for management review.
Drive predictive maintenance strategies to reduce unplanned downtime and extend asset life.
Collaborate with reliability engineers, maintenance planners, and operations to prioritize and implement reliability improvement projects.
Lead root cause failure analysis (RCFA) sessions and condition-based maintenance (CBM) initiatives.
Provide coaching and technical support to team members and contractors.

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or related field
Vibration Analysis ISO CAT III or equivalent advanced certification
MLA III or equivalent advanced lubricant analysis certification
Certified Infrared Thermographer Level II or higher (optional)
Other condition monitoring-related certifications (Ultrasound, Motor Current Analysis, etc.)
7+ years of hands-on experience in condition monitoring and reliability roles within industrial, oil & gas, or power generation sectors
Proven track record in advanced fault diagnostics and condition-based maintenance implementation
Expert proficiency in vibration analysis software and diagnostic tools
Strong knowledge of tribology, lubricant condition assessment, and contamination control
Experience with CMMS, reliability engineering software, and asset management systems
Leadership capabilities with excellent mentoring and communication skills
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
