The Mid-Level Compressor/Turbine Lab Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of the testing laboratory focused on compressors and turbines. This role manages lab personnel, coordinates testing programs, ensures compliance with safety and quality standards, and supports data analysis to validate turbomachinery performance. The position is key in driving efficient lab workflows and collaborating with engineering teams for successful test execution.
Supervise and mentor lab technicians and operators during compressor and turbine testing activities.
Plan and coordinate test schedules, resource allocation, and equipment readiness to meet project timelines.
Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, quality assurance standards, and regulatory requirements.
Oversee maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of lab instrumentation, test rigs, and data acquisition systems.
Collaborate closely with engineering and R&D teams to interpret test results and provide actionable feedback.
Develop and implement lab procedures and best practices to improve test efficiency and reliability.
Manage documentation of test plans, results, and technical reports.
Assist in budgeting and resource management for the lab.

Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
3–5 years experience in turbomachinery testing, lab supervision, or related mechanical test environments
Strong knowledge of turbomachinery testing methods, instrumentation, and data acquisition
Experience with lab equipment calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Ability to interpret test data, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
Effective leadership and team management skills
