The Civil Manager is responsible for overseeing all civil engineering and construction activities on assigned projects. This includes supervising site operations, managing technical teams, ensuring compliance with design specifications, and delivering quality results within budget and schedule. The Civil Manager plays a key leadership role in coordinating with stakeholders, resolving on-site issues, and ensuring the successful execution of infrastructure and building works.
Manage daily civil engineering operations and ensure adherence to design and safety standards.
Supervise site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and labor teams.
Plan and monitor project timelines, budgets, and material requirements.
Review and approve civil drawings, layouts, and specifications.
Coordinate with consultants, clients, architects, and other departments.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and environmental standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor work progress and safety.
Identify risks, resolve issues promptly, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Prepare progress reports, cost estimates, and technical documentation.
Assist in procurement, subcontractor selection, and contract administration.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects.
Proven experience in site management and team leadership.
Familiarity with structural, geotechnical, and municipal engineering practices.
Proficient in construction software such as AutoCAD, MS Project, and Primavera.
Strong understanding of local building codes and safety regulations.
Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) is an advantage.
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.
Strong communication and coordination abilities with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple project sites simultaneously.
