We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Civil Engineer to lead the planning, design, and execution of complex civil engineering projects. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership capabilities, and the ability to oversee multidisciplinary teams. You will be responsible for ensuring project delivery on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Lead the design, analysis, and implementation of civil engineering projects (infrastructure, structural, transportation, water systems, etc.).
Oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution in coordination with project managers.
Ensure adherence to project specifications, industry codes, and safety regulations.
Supervise and mentor junior and mid-level engineers, providing technical guidance and performance feedback.
Conduct technical reviews of design calculations, drawings, and reports.
Manage coordination with architects, consultants, contractors, and clients.
Ensure engineering outputs meet quality control standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
Conduct site inspections and audits to assess construction progress and compliance.
Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Represent the engineering team in client meetings, site visits, and presentations.
Prepare and deliver technical documentation, progress reports, and project proposals.
Maintain positive relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, and vendors.
Assist in preparing and managing project budgets, resource allocation, and procurement.
Monitor project costs and ensure efficiency across engineering tasks and workflows.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
Experience: 7–10+ years of experience in civil engineering, with demonstrated leadership in managing mid to large-scale projects.
Licensing: Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification (required).
Expertise in structural, geotechnical, transportation, or environmental engineering (as applicable).
Advanced proficiency in engineering and project management software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, STAAD Pro, ETABS, Primavera, MS Project).
Deep understanding of national and international design codes (e.g., ACI, AISC, IS, IRC, etc.).
Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and lead diverse teams under pressure.
Combination of office work and frequent site visits.
May require extended working hours and travel based on project demands.
Responsible for health, safety, and environmental compliance at project sites.
High-performing Senior Civil Engineers can advance to Project Manager, Technical Director, Construction Manager, or Department Head positions.
