Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the financial strategy of the organization, ensuring robust financial planning and analysis, optimizing capital structure, and maintaining the fiscal health of the company. This role is pivotal in guiding the company’s long-term growth, financial stability, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.

  • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, treasury, and reporting.

  • Monitor and manage cash flow, investments, and capital allocation.

  • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards.

  • Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to support strategic decision-making.

  • Present financial reports and risk analysis to the CEO and board of directors.

  • Implement strong internal controls and risk management systems.

  • Liaise with external auditors, regulatory authorities, banks, and investors.

  • Mentor and lead the finance team to build a high-performing department.

  • Support M&A activities, fundraising, and other corporate finance initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred)

  • Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, CA, or ACCA is highly desirable

  • Minimum 10–15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior executive role

  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, corporate finance, and strategic planning

  • Proven experience in managing complex budgets, investor relations, and leading high-level negotiations

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
