Ensure execution of machining programs for complex fabricated parts with tight tolerances and custom setups.
Develop machining strategies for fabricated parts with complex geometries, weld distortions, or surface irregularities.
Collaborate with CAM programmers, tooling engineers, and fixture designers to optimize cycle times and quality.
Approve and troubleshoot complex setups, including custom fixturing for irregular parts.
Ensure compliance with dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and customer specifications using in-process and final inspections.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for machining-related defects or non-conformities.
Work closely with the Quality Assurance team on FMEA, process audits, and control plan adherence.
Manage CNC machine availability through proactive maintenance planning and issue resolution.
Oversee tooling strategies for life management, standardization, and cost optimization.
Evaluate machine performance, recommend upgrades, and assist in capital equipment planning.
Lead daily production meetings and communicate status, challenges, and priorities with stakeholders.
