The Junior CIP System Operator assists in operating and monitoring Clean-in-Place (CIP) systems used to sanitize process equipment, tanks, lines, and piping in accordance with strict hygiene and safety standards. Under supervision, the operator ensures proper cleaning cycles, records sanitation data, and supports production readiness through effective cleaning operations.
Assist in setting up and operating CIP systems for cleaning tanks, lines, valves, and processing equipment.
Monitor cleaning cycles for time, temperature, and chemical concentrations to meet standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Ensure correct CIP recipes are selected for different systems and products.
Follow detailed cleaning and sanitation procedures aligned with GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
Support pre- and post-CIP inspections for cleanliness and proper equipment reassembly.
Report any deviations, mechanical issues, or failed CIP cycles to supervisors immediately.
Record all CIP activity including chemical usage, time/temp logs, and cleaning verification checks.
Assist in performing titration tests or using test strips to verify chemical concentration levels.
Learn to identify and respond to alarms or issues during CIP cycles.
Follow all PPE, chemical handling, and safety protocols related to sanitation and chemical systems.
Maintain a clean and organized work area; prevent cross-contamination.
Participate in safety and sanitation training sessions.
