Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role involves market research, lead generation, proposal development, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in target markets and industries.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategy and targeting.

  • Prepare and present compelling business proposals, sales presentations, and pricing models.

  • Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, operations, finance, product) to align on customer solutions.

  • Manage and grow a qualified sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and follow-up.

  • Achieve assigned sales and business development targets on a monthly/quarterly basis.

  • Attend networking events, industry exhibitions, and client meetings to represent the company.

  • Provide regular reports and updates on business development activity and performance metrics.

  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and ensure timely follow-up on leads.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and achieve sales targets.

  • Good understanding of industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) and MS Office Suite.

  • Willingness to travel for client visits, events, and regional coverage as needed.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry experience in [customize: e.g., B2B services, manufacturing, tech, logistics, healthcare].

  • Multilingual skills (based on market).

  • Experience with tendering, proposal development, or solution selling.
