Job Title: Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading complex BI projects, delivering high-impact insights, and driving data-informed decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with senior leadership, data engineering, and cross-functional business units to build robust analytical solutions and scalable reporting systems.

In addition to owning critical initiatives, you will mentor junior analysts, help shape BI best practices, and play a pivotal role in aligning data strategies with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of high-impact BI projects, from requirements gathering through to delivery and stakeholder communication
• Build and maintain automated reporting systems, define and monitor core KPIs, and ensure consistency across business units
• Translate complex business questions into clear analytical frameworks, and deliver actionable insights to senior leadership
• Collaborate closely with data engineering to improve data pipelines, architecture, and overall data quality
• Mentor and guide junior BI analysts, sharing best practices and encouraging analytical rigor and innovation
• Present insights and trends through compelling data visualizations and storytelling tailored to executive and business audiences
• Drive continuous improvement of analytics capabilities, tools, and governance frameworks
• Work cross-functionally to align analytics efforts with strategic priorities

Required Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field
• Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Tableau Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) is a plus

Experience:

• 4–7 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related role
• Demonstrated experience leading BI projects and managing end-to-end delivery of analytical solutions
• Proven ability to influence decision-making at the leadership level through data

Technical Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and performance optimization
• Expertise in leading BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
• Strong skills in Excel for advanced analytics and data manipulation
• Solid understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and cloud platforms like Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Azure Synapse
• Experience working with or alongside data engineering teams on ETL processes and data infrastructure
• Exposure to Python or R for data analysis and automation is a strong plus
