Job Title: Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst I / Junior BI Analyst
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our growing Data & Analytics team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are passionate about data and eager to build a career in business intelligence and analytics.
As a Junior BI Analyst, you will work closely with senior analysts and business stakeholders to assist in data collection, reporting, and dashboard creation. You will contribute to the development of data-driven insights that support operational and strategic decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain basic reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
- Assist in extracting, cleaning, and validating data from various sources using SQL and Excel
- Support the analytics team in performing ad hoc analysis and generating business reports
- Monitor and ensure the accuracy and consistency of data within reporting systems
- Help identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in datasets to support business inquiries
- Collaborate with team members and business units to understand reporting needs and deliver timely insights
- Document processes and reports to maintain transparency and reproducibility
- Participate in regular training, feedback sessions, and team meetings to enhance skills and domain knowledge
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field
- Recent graduates with relevant coursework or internship experience are encouraged to apply
Experience:
- 0–2 years of experience in a BI, reporting, or data analysis role (internships or academic projects acceptable)
- Exposure to basic data reporting tools or dashboarding platforms
Technical Skills:
- Basic proficiency in SQL for querying relational databases
- Working knowledge of Excel (including pivot tables, formulas, and charts)
- Familiarity with one or more BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio, or Looker
- Understanding of core data concepts such as tables, joins, filters, and aggregations
- Knowledge of business performance metrics such as revenue, conversion rates, churn, etc.
