Job Title: Expert Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst 

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to lead and scale our BI function across the organization. This role is ideal for a data professional with a strong blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership capabilities.

As the BI Analytics Lead, you will own the BI roadmap, define strategic reporting standards, and drive cross-functional alignment between business teams and data engineering. You will champion the adoption of BI tools and ensure that data is accessible, trustworthy, and actionable at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive the BI strategy and roadmap, aligning it with organizational goals and data initiatives
• Define and implement enterprise-wide reporting standards, data governance policies, and quality controls
• Oversee the delivery of analytics projects across business units, ensuring consistency, scalability, and impact
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, data engineering, and data science teams
• Lead the standardization and centralization of BI tools, dashboards, and reporting practices
• Promote and increase adoption of BI platforms across departments through enablement, training, and documentation
• Translate high-level business goals into analytical use cases and reporting frameworks
• Manage a team of BI analysts, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback
• Track and report on BI KPIs and operational effectiveness of analytics systems and processes
• Support executive leadership with data-backed insights to guide strategic decisions

Required Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
• Master’s degree or MBA with a focus on analytics, data strategy, or business intelligence is preferred

Experience:

• 6–10 years of progressive experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or data strategy roles
• Proven success in leading cross-functional BI initiatives and managing large-scale reporting projects
• Strong track record of stakeholder engagement and business partnership

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in multiple BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik) and visualization best practices
• Deep understanding of data architecture, dimensional modeling, and data warehouse design
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Azure Synapse
• Working knowledge of ETL pipelines, data integration tools, and metadata management
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or R is a plus

• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data insights into strategic value
• Proven project management capabilities and experience leading cross-departmental initiatives
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated leadership in coaching, mentoring, and team development

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience implementing or managing data governance programs
• Knowledge of data privacy, compliance, and industry-specific regulations
• Exposure to Agile methodologies, and tools like Jira, Confluence, or Asana
• Experience with self-service BI enablement and user adoption programs
