The Senior Business Development Supervisor is responsible for leading client acquisition, proposal coordination, and strategic sales development across the mechanical division. This includes pumps, valves, HVAC systems, motors, turbines, and fabricated components. The role focuses on securing high-value projects, strengthening client relationships, managing tender responses, and supporting key account strategies across infrastructure, energy, utilities, and industrial sectors.
Identify, pursue, and secure major project opportunities through proactive engagement with EPCs, consultants, and end users.
Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and contribute to the achievement of revenue targets.
Serve as the primary contact for key accounts, supporting long-term relationship development and account retention.
Conduct client meetings, technical discussions, and pre-bid consultations.
Lead preparation of technical-commercial proposals, tender documentation, and prequalification submissions.
Collaborate with engineering, estimation, procurement, and legal teams to ensure proposals are compliant and competitive.
Monitor regional project announcements, tenders, and market trends to identify potential opportunities.
Maintain knowledge of competitor activities, pricing strategies, and product positioning.
Work with internal departments (projects, service, engineering) to ensure successful project handover and customer satisfaction.
Support after-sales and service teams in responding to client inquiries and issue resolution.
Maintain accurate records in CRM and prepare regular reports on sales activities, forecasts, and client feedback.
Report market challenges and suggest improvements to senior management.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (MBA is an advantage)
6–8+ years of experience in business development, sales supervision, or client management in mechanical/industrial sectors
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (e.g., pumps, valves, HVAC, turbines, fabrication)
Proven track record in preparing winning proposals and securing major project contracts
Familiarity with GCC market dynamics and industrial procurement processes
UAE/GCC driving license preferred
High-level client relationship management
