The Business Development Supervisor (Junior Level) supports sales initiatives and client engagement activities for industrial and mechanical products or services. This entry-level role involves assisting in lead generation, proposal coordination, market research, and internal coordination to help grow the company's client base across target sectors such as construction, oil & gas, utilities, water, and manufacturing.
Assist in identifying potential customers and project opportunities through online research and industry databases.
Follow up with existing and potential clients under the guidance of senior team members.
Help prepare basic quotations, prequalification documents, and sales presentations.
Coordinate with technical, estimation, and procurement teams for necessary documentation.
Monitor tender platforms and project announcements to track new opportunities.
Maintain a basic database of consultants, contractors, and client contacts.
Schedule meetings, site visits, and follow-ups as directed by the Business Development Manager.
Assist with preparing internal reports, activity logs, and CRM updates.
Participate in product training, technical orientation, and client engagement activities to build sales capability.
Develop an understanding of key mechanical products such as pumps, valves, HVAC systems, and fabricated equipment.
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
0–2 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or business development (fresh graduates welcome)
Basic knowledge of industrial or mechanical products is an advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Good communication, organizational, and time management skills
Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings or site visits
