The Senior Business Development Sales Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and driving sales activities across key industrial sectors for mechanical products and systems, such as pumps, valves, HVAC, motors, turbines, and fabricated equipment. This leadership role involves managing sales operations, guiding junior staff, developing key accounts, and coordinating proposal submissions. The position requires strong technical-commercial acumen and a proactive approach to securing high-value projects with EPCs, OEMs, consultants, and end users.
Supervise and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to proposal submission and post-sales coordination.
Support strategic account planning and ensure all team sales targets are met or exceeded.
Review and refine client proposals to align with both commercial and technical expectations.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with high-value clients in sectors like oil & gas, water, power, and industry.
Participate in high-level meetings and presentations to position mechanical solutions and close deals.
Support senior leadership in negotiating contracts and resolving client issues.
Monitor project pipelines, track tenders, and prequalify with consultants, contractors, and government bodies.
Supervise the preparation and timely submission of proposals, ensuring technical and financial accuracy.
Liaise with engineering, estimation, procurement, and project delivery teams to ensure seamless execution from sale to delivery.
Support internal planning for resource allocation and risk assessment on major sales opportunities.
Mentor and coach junior sales coordinators and business development executives.
Maintain CRM data, oversee sales reporting, and prepare monthly forecasts and performance dashboards for senior management.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical/business field (MBA is an advantage)
6–8 years of experience in mechanical sales, business development, or industrial account supervision
Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment and systems (pumps, valves, HVAC, rotating equipment, fabrication)
Experience managing B2B sales cycles, major tenders, and customer relationships in the GCC market
Proficient in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting
Valid UAE/GCC driving license preferred
