Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The Business Development Sales Supervisor (Mid-Level) is responsible for managing key sales activities, coordinating proposal submissions, and supporting business growth across target sectors such as oil & gas, power, water, infrastructure, and manufacturing. This role involves supervising day-to-day sales operations, supporting key account engagements, and ensuring smooth coordination between internal departments and external clients. The position serves as a vital link between the sales team and project execution departments to ensure customer satisfaction and deal closure.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales Operations & Coordination

  • Manage and supervise daily sales follow-ups, quotation processing, and client communications.

  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of proposals, tenders, and quotations.

Client Engagement & Relationship Building

  • Support the business development team in maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and identifying upselling opportunities.

  • Follow up on client inquiries, pending proposals, and order status updates.

Market Research & Opportunity Tracking

  • Monitor ongoing and upcoming industrial and infrastructure projects.

  • Assist in identifying new business opportunities and prequalification processes with consultants, EPCs, and government entities.

Proposal & Documentation Management

  • Oversee the preparation of techno-commercial offers in collaboration with engineering, estimation, and procurement teams.

  • Maintain accurate records of submitted bids, awarded contracts, and post-sales activities.

Team & CRM Support

  • Guide junior sales coordinators and ensure CRM data is up to date with leads, contacts, and project status.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales activity reports for management review.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field

  • 3–5 years of experience in technical sales, industrial business development, or sales supervision

  • Knowledge of mechanical systems (e.g., pumps, valves, HVAC, motors, fabrication) is highly preferred

  • Experience working with CRM platforms and tendering portals

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

  • UAE/GCC experience and valid driving license preferred
