The Key Account Supervisor – Mechanical Business Development (Mid-Level) is responsible for managing and growing strategic client relationships across key accounts in the mechanical products sector. The role focuses on supporting business development through project tracking, proposal coordination, sales execution, and client servicing, particularly for products such as pumps, valves, motors, HVAC systems, and fabricated equipment. The role bridges technical and commercial operations to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth.
Manage day-to-day interactions with key clients, consultants, and contractors, ensuring timely response to inquiries and issues.
Build rapport with decision-makers and project stakeholders to strengthen long-term partnerships.
Monitor project pipelines, identify upcoming tenders, and track ongoing opportunities.
Maintain a solid understanding of project timelines, procurement cycles, and competitor activity within accounts.
Collaborate with engineering, estimation, and sales teams to prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals.
Ensure submissions are compliant with specifications and delivered within deadlines.
Assist the senior BD team with contract execution, payment follow-up, and client communication.
Help drive repeat business by supporting product upgrades, service agreements, and after-sales support.
Maintain updated records of client interactions, project details, and status reports using CRM tools.
Generate weekly and monthly sales performance summaries and forecast reports.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical/business discipline
3–5 years of experience in mechanical sales support, business development, or account management
Familiarity with mechanical systems such as pumps, HVAC, valves, or rotating equipment
Proficient in CRM tools, MS Excel/PowerPoint, and proposal document management
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
UAE/GCC experience and valid driving license preferred
