We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to assist in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. This junior-level role is ideal for individuals looking to start or grow their career in finance and accounting. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of bookkeeping principles, good organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Record day-to-day financial transactions in accounting systems
Maintain ledgers, reconcile bank statements, and monitor cash flow
Assist in processing accounts payable and receivable
Issue invoices and receipts and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding payments
Prepare basic financial reports and summaries for review by senior accountants
Support the month-end and year-end closing process
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and local regulations
Organize and maintain financial records and documents
Accurate and timely data entry
Bank and ledger reconciliation
Support for invoicing and billing functions
Maintenance of financial records and documentation
Assistance with reporting and compliance
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
1–2 years of relevant bookkeeping or accounting experience (freshers with training may be considered)
Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a team environment
