The Senior Boiler Solutions Consultant leads the development of advanced and customized boiler system solutions for industrial clients. This role involves strategic consultation, complex system design, energy optimization, compliance with global standards, and coordination of multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-performance and sustainable thermal energy solutions.
Lead client consultations to define boiler system requirements, including capacity, fuel flexibility, emissions, redundancy, and integration with plant operations.
Design complex boiler configurations including steam generators, HRSGs, waste heat boilers, hybrid systems, and co-generation setups.
Conduct detailed energy audits, feasibility studies, and lifecycle cost analyses for boiler installations, retrofits, and decarbonization initiatives.
Prepare high-level technical proposals, PFDs, and heat balance diagrams aligned with ASME, API, IBR, and local compliance standards.
Guide cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, construction) through technical reviews, scope validation, and solution finalization.
Present and defend proposed solutions to client engineering committees, consultants, and tender boards.
Develop value-engineered solutions to meet performance, cost, and sustainability objectives.
Collaborate with OEMs for bespoke design elements and integrate auxiliary equipment such as burners, economizers, water treatment, and control panels.
Supervise or support commissioning teams during system testing, troubleshooting, and optimization phases.
Monitor industry trends, emissions regulations, and technology developments to drive innovation and thought leadership.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Power, or Energy Engineering.
8–12 years of experience in boiler system engineering, energy consulting, or industrial utility design.
Proven track record in managing high-value boiler projects (design/build), audits, or solution sales.
Strong knowledge of ASME Section I, Section VIII, IBR, NFPA codes, emissions compliance (NOx, SOx), and pressure vessel standards.
Proficient in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, PipeFlow, Thermoflex, Excel-based thermal models).
Experience with decarbonization strategies (biomass, electric boilers, hydrogen-ready systems).
Leadership in proposal strategy, project costing, and client stakeholder management.
Ability to drive innovation in fuel efficiency, system modularization, and emissions control.
Exceptional presentation, technical writing, and cross-functional coordination skills.
